The Freight Forwarder companies do it pretty well. BUT, do NOT let anyone talk you into letting it go as "deck" cargo!!! First thing damaged in a storm.

The ship workers tend to rob any stereos/radios,/dvds on the car, so pull them off and ship separately, by a bonded carrier!

They also like to strip wheels off the cars and trucks, and even will steal a decent set of tires! I have shipped over 500 vehicles worldwide.

The U.S. government average reported loss is $2,000 per vehicle, for all the vehicles shipped for the government, for official use, and for employees and military personnel.

I now "purchase" a container, with passage, for up to 6 vehicles on racks, inside, (stacked or angled) for about $5,500, depending upon destination, insured, sealed, locked. A 20 foot container might be better and safer, for only two vehicles, stacked.

assuming you're interior the U. S.: in case you may extra healthful it right into a 20' field, you may desire to destroy out with 3,500.- examine with various worldwide delivery businesses - you would be shocked on the various expenses you will discover. to shop the "inland freight" - out of your homestead to the port, you may desire to force the automobile there, once you're close sufficient. RoRo ships needless to say will artwork, if the service is provided to Italy. or perhaps then, study to the cost of a regularly happening field. the comparable on the different 'end" - %. up the automobile in port. yet another element, so reported as "tramps" - ships with variable ports of call checklist are an determination: they're going to load your automobile into between the shipment holds (decrease than deck) and take care of it. those ships tend to be 12 - 24,000 GRT and up, motor vessels, carrying destroy-bulk shipment. examine the hyperlinks decrease than. additionally: make certain you recognize in the experience that your automobile would be allowed into Europe - they do have slightly distinctive standards. is your automobile somewhat worth it or would the proceeds from the sale plus expenses of delivery, purchase you a good used one in Europe? how lots gasoline does your automobile eat?? gasoline in Europe is rather costly, annual taxes are paid on engine length and/or horsepower, so the familiar US made autos at the instant are not perfect for Europe. i'd seem at a respectable Fiat , VW or Peugeot with a diesel engine over there.

Yes, look online or in the yellow pages for "Freight-Forwarding" companies in Los Angeles. They will arrange to have your car put on a shipping container or can at least give you good advice on this.

I think Fed Ex and UPS can do it, it's just to expensive. You and your friend and do it too by driving it. I checked the map, same distance from NY to Los Angeles. 3,000 miles
