I have no real loyalty for the channel itself. If a show moved from NBC to CBS to ABC, its all the same to me.
A case in point, rather than running Farscape into the ground, I would rather that the Sci-Fi Channel had sold the show to someone else.

I'm a channel changer myself, I like to flip while I cook til I find which program I won't get too interested in and then sit at the bar and find a good channel while I eat!
