i need some assistance paying for my car repairs and i wasn't sure if there was a any charitable groups that help

You just need to call around to church and other charitable organizations. Don't count of the Salvation Army, or Red Cross. Your church is the best bet. When I shingled our house church members came out and helped me for a weekend on two sides where I was having trouble. They even used their own nails in the gun they brought. At lunch time the women set up picnic tables in the yard and had a nice lunch. It turned out to be an enjoyable weekend. We did pay for all our own supplies.
