Right now I have a CD drive on my labtop, and I would to make it a CD-RW DVD+R/RW DVD-R/RW drive.
What kind would fit it.
My Labtop is a Compaq Armada.

You need read the User Manual but.. try search in the Compac web site or use the software Everest and maybe you find something about this.
I think you can put anything in your Laptop. Maybe you will need the drivers for the Operating System.

I looked all around for your laptop on line and it seems that I cant find any that has a CD burner in it. What I would do is see if any of your friends has one + and - CD to try out and see what works. If the CD ROM is new then I am sure it should read both, but if it is an older one then it may be picky. Sorry I could not find anything on line.
