My husband got a titanium wedding band. He loves it. The only disadvantage is that it can't be sized. A year after our wedding, his ring size had gone down significantly, so he bought a matching one in a smaller size (both cost around $100). Now he has both in case he needs the bigger size again one day.

Since they are so hard, they are not resizeable by just any jeweler. You have to take them to someone who has equipment for cutting titanium.

I have titanium rods in my back, does that count ? I can't bend very well.

They can't be resized, you have to go trade them in. People that put great importance on sentimental objects wouldn't like that.
