Sometimes my parents lie, but my dad is sometimes honest and mother too. I've heard two president lie and get caught. I'm sure other have lied also but they try. I believe in God. They say there was a real Santa, Saint Nicolous, but I don't like him or the lies they made up about him. The Easter Bunny has something to do with paganism and the goddess Ishtar and I don't like her either.

Everybody lies. That's why we need God, who sent his son to save a sinful world. He forgives us for our sin, just as we need to forgive others for their transgressions. I believe in the ideal of Santa and The Easter bunny, whereas you give of yourself selflessly to others, expecting nothing in return. That is when the blessings will flow upon you.

YES! Most parents, the president for sure, teacher and most especially- the clergy, LIE.
Start with most Parents. ANY parent that would tell their kid such things as the stories of Santa, the Easter Bunny and all of that garbage is lying. WHY should a parent make up stories of a fat crusty old man bringing their children gifts and then tell them to stay AWAY from Fat crusty old men because they might be child molesters?? DUH.... and that whole easter bunny garbage... what on EARTH would that have do with the death and resurrection of our lord and savior, Jesus Christ? I mean, and hiding eggs? Was it like, Jesus had high cholesterol and when the Apostles saw him coming to breakfast it was like "Quick! Hide the eggs! Here comes the lord!!"?!?!
And on that whole gift giving at Xmas and birthdays, why only should a kid have to wait for two lousy days of the year for a present from their parents? My parents were wonderful... I never knew when I would get a surprise from them- a new paint set, a basketball.... it was fantastic!!
OK, Now on to the gov't. If you don't think that they lie to us, then you had better think again. The gov't hides a lot of things. Do you reallllly think they would pay $900 for a hammer? C'mon. That money was funnelled away for other projects and plans. They subsidize farmers NOT to grow crops and yet children in our country go to bed hungry every night. No lies going on here...

Teachers lie. They teach our children a horribly white-washed, cleaned up version of history only after censors have decided that the history books are appropriate enough for our kids to learn from . No one will tell our kids the truth about things like the fact that Paul Revere got so drunk at one point along his famous ride, that a barmaid took over for him and left him passed out at the tavern where she worked. AND that there were two other men who rode other routes along with him. Yet, HE is our great American Patriot that our kids are all taught to , pardon the pun, revere.

And the Clergy. Oh , my... God save us from the clergy. Teaching all the doctrines under the sun that are NOT found in the Bible. Like, the doctrine of Hellfire... the immortal soul...life after death.... people going to heaven or hell immediately after death....the practice of 'once forgiven, always forgiven'....and so many other false teachings that are no where to be found in the Holy Scriptures.
For example; I had a friend in High School and he had questions about his sexuality. He went to our school counselor,( whose family was a NATIONALLY KNOWN CHRISTIAN SINGING group.... and he was the pastor of his church!) for guidance and help . What did the man tell him, this CHRISTIAN< Supposedly GODLY man?? Told him to take out his sexual frustration on COWS. Yes, Bovine. COWS. That that was what HE ( the pastor ) did when HIS lusts got tooo much for him and he was craving to be with a man.
Now, tell me the clergy don't lie, decieve and mislead their flocks.

But all of this can be overcome with education. Educate yourself. Look into what is the truth about not only God, but also history, and what is going on around you. FInd your personal truths, and even though everything from the government to toothepaste commercials are deceptive, you will find enough TRUTH in your life to keep you happy.

I can help you find some spiritual truths, ifyou are willing to ask. You can email me if you want to know more and we can talk about spiritual truths. I have studied the Bible for many years and found great hope and truth in the texts there that I would be so happy to share with you. Feel free to email me.

When I was a kid, my parents told me I owned the hill behind our house. Then several years later, a housing developer bought the hill and dug it up to build a subdivision. I was pissed. That was MY hill. My parents had to explain that they lied about the hill just to shut me up. Sometimes I wonder if religion came about in the same way.
