borrowed" this expression, but it definitely originated in a great movie from 1981. I can't believe that this is stumping you!

Many years ago our family went to see the movie NETWORK at a drive-in theatre. We were in a van so we had to park in the rear, and I climbed on top of the van to watch the movie. Shortly after the "I'm mad as Hell" scene the film in the projector broke. After about 20 seconds people were becoming agitated so, to egg them on, I stood on top of the van and I screamed "I'm mad as Hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!". I had most of the ENTIRE viewer audience screaming that line until the problem fixed! It was a riot!...:-))
Those were the days!
