I remember playing this game in elementary school, and I remember how we used to put our heads down and thumbs up, and one person would come around and put some people's thumbs down. However, I don't remember really what the objective of the game is or exactly how it was played. Can you help?

Actually, seven people would be the taggers. Everyone else would put their heads down (so that they couldn't peek) and their thumbs up. Then each of the seven taggers would tag someone. If you got tagged, you put your thumb down. When all of the taggers have tagged some one, the orchestrator yells "Heads up 7 up" and everyone who was tagged stands up. Then, those who were tagged get one guess at who it was who tagged them. If they are correct, the person who tagged them has to sit down and the person who guessed correctly, now gets to become a tagger. Once everyone has guessed, it starts all over again. The object is (A) to guess who tagged you and (B) stay a tagger as long as possible.

You get a group of people, pick 7 of them to be the "uppers", then everybody else puts their heads down and thumbs up (no peeking at their shoes now! :P). After every upper has picked a person and returned to the front, then the people who got picked stand up and get one chance to guess which upper picked them. If they are right then that person now becomes an upper, taking the place of the person who just picked them.

Heads down again and repeat. Thats it!

Seven people pick one person each (that has their head down) and the people who got picked stand up after the seven are done and try to guess who tagged them.

At least 14 people are needed to play. 7 people are "it" while the rest sit down with their heads down and thumbs up. the 7 "it" people put their thumbs down. The people who were "tagged" have to try and guess who put their thumb down. If they're wrong, they sit back down. If they're right, then the person who "tagged" them sits down and the "tagged" person is now "it". It's very fun!!
