A normal, healthy girl can start her period any time between age 8 and 18. You still have plenty of time before you need to worry. As for your cup size, a lot depends on the size of the older women in your family. If all the women in your family are naturally a "D" cup, then you will get bigger. If all the women in your family are an "A" cup, then you probably won't get much bigger.
I know it is hard to be patient when everyone around you is growing up so fast, but I promise it will happen. When you do start, your Mom can help you get the right kind of pads. I usually recommend "Always" because they pull the wetness away from you and seal it inside the pad.
Best of luck to you.

I use always they are great pads and for tampons id say tampax pearl..... and dont wory about guys saying u r flat.... it doesnt matter what they think of u it matters what u think of urself and i use the always pads for sizes 14 + though i am not a size 14 + b/c I think it helps when i am in school so I dont have to run and check it after every class...but I would suggest using a tampon with a pad and once the tampon is full take it out and just use the pad then when the pad is full take it off and put in a fresh tampon and replace dirty pad w a fresh one

Sweetie, don't worry about your period, you will start it when your body is ready to. Some women NEVER have periods. Believe me, periods are not the best thing to go through so be happy you do not have them yet, because once you do, you will wish you didn't. Your body matures the way IT sees fit, Not the way you (or anybody else) may want it to. Well, as far as the pad, I cannot tell you because I use tampons. To me they are better because with a pad, it is bulky and sometimes it shows that you are wearing one. Plus, you can swim with a tampon, but not a pad. You go with what you feel is best for you. p.s. I did not start my period until I was 13. As far as the boys, do not listen to them as they are boys which automatically makes them morons.

It's perfectly normal, especially if you only weigh 85 pounds. Although the AVERAGE age to start one's period is about age 12, there are many girls whose periods come at a younger age and just as many whose come at an older age. Also, girls who are very thing or extremely athletic often don't start their periods until later than the average.
I say: just enjoy not having it while you can! Once you get it, you aren't gonna like it, and you're gonna have it for about 40 years!

Dont worry about what boys say to you about being flat chested everyone develops at there own time. (I'm 22 with a 34 A cup if it helps you feel better.)
about the period you'll start sooner or later and trust me once you do you'll wish you didnt have it, it's no fun. only being 5'2 and 85lbs is normal for your age, you will develop when your body is ready. try not to worry you'll be fine there is nothing wrong with you.

So normal! Don't worry, you'll have a lifetime to worry about your period. I do not use pads (i use tampons) but Please don't argue with your mom on that until you get older! In terms of being flat chested, I was an A until i was about 14. I'm a C now. I'm 24.

All girls develop at different stages....your weight, height and bra size will not effect when you will get your period. There are many girls who don't develop physically until they are in highschool. So don't let it get to you. As for what type of pads you should use, try different ones some are good for 1 person but not the next.

I think you are just fine! Girls seem to be trying to grow up too soon these days. Are you sure all of your friends have really started or are they just saying they have to try to fit in? I started when I was 11 and I was the 1st in my school, I think. People develop at different rates. 'A' cup is not that bad, especially for your age...I'd probably be more concerned if you were much bigger than that. Guys are also going thru a difficult time and are starting to notice girls bodies and how girls and boys are different...just ignore their stupid comments. Hang in there and try to enjoy the rest of your childhood...it'll be gone too soon!

Don't worry. breast are unfortunately one of the last thing to fully developer. I know! I wasn't at a decent size until til about 2 years ago and I'm 23! But now that I am happy about where I am at. It will come soon enough. I know it feels like everyone else is ahead of you and you will never catch up but of course you will! And don't listen to boys that age. What do they know!? They are useless at that age don't pay them any attention till you are older and ready. You are perfectly normal.
