Comic Showcase was a neat comic store at 63 Charing Cross Road. Unfortunately, it appears to have closed for good as of the end of May 2006 (as part of the forthcoming demolition of that block).

Luckily, there is still Mega City Comics, which is less than 10 minutes away on the tube, and carries much of the same stock, along with a fair bit more.

AAARRRRGGGGG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had no idea that it was gone BLAST !!!!!!

If you are stuck for a replacement.......

There is Forbidden Planet (Just off Shaftsbury Avenue - best look them up, they moved a short while ago from Tottenham Court road, not too far but I can never remember the Street)

Also - GOSH comics, just opposite the British Museum

There is also the Mighty World of Comicana (This is just off Tottenham Court Road - next door to a walking stick shop - close to the other two comic shops above. The Black gentleman who is the Manager / owner IS REALLY GOOD - he knows his stuff & is very friendly. The shop has a fantastic range of comics too & at a fair price.)

There is also a comic / sci-fi toy shop, again near the Tottenham Court Road - Just by the Centre Point building, think it called Orbital Comics.
