I don't watch cable and hardly ever listen to mainstream radio, so i've missed out on why the hip-hop community is ditching cristal. Can someone bring me up to speed?

When asked what he thought about rappers drinking Cristal, Roederer CEO (owner of the brand) said that he didn't really care. Jay-Z took that as a racist comment (doesn't take much) and decide to boycott it.

I think one of their executives said something racist, so they're all boycotting Cristal now.
