This answers is yes to all of us.The question should be how will you respond and behave to backstabbing. Think of Jesus and his actions when he was mistreated and even put to death on the cross at Calvary. He said forgive them Father for they know not what they do. This goes to show you whats really in someones heart. The bible said's out of the heart flows the issues of life and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth will speak. Your response should be with the love of God and not hold a grudge or be resentful. Learn how to love through the pain and be willing to suffer even thogh you're not the one at fault. Take it patiently and pray for that person that God would show them their wrong and that their heart be made right and let God deal with them and sooner or later they will confess their wrong and apoligize. If they dont then forgive them anyway.Dont allow bitterness to habor in your heart.Be encouraged and love at all times.God Bless you.

Yes. I thought we were BEST friends. But as time went on, she started acting different towards me. I would try to ignore it because I loved her like a sister, but then we had a big argument on an out of town trip and I began to see her true colors. After that, people would come up to me telling me things she was saying about me behind my back and telling me that they thought she was jealous of me. Then I found out that she tried to call my boyfriend at the time. That was the final straw and I had to cut her loose. It hurt so bad, even after she did all of those horrible things to me. I really missed our friendship, but eventually, I got over it. I am not sure if I will have a BEST friend again. I have four girlfriends that I am very close to, but not a best friend. I've learned that God is the best friend I will ever have.

Oh yes, and she tried to make an amends with me... but it never was the same... she became more of an annoying acquintance than anything else. Once someone breaks their trust with me, I can't stand being around them.

yes, every one gets one in their life and you are suppose to learn from that and choose better next time. Also, you need to be careful with how you handle it, if you are too resentful or ragful, you'll just perpetuate those types in your life

yeah, and if anyone says no, then they're lying or dont have many friends. It happens to all of us. We live and learn.
