Get her some of the soft chewable calcium supplements. Before bed, or if she should get a cramp, have her eat about three of those as quickly as possible, with water. The cramp should be gone within about 5-10 minutes and should not return.

Muscle relaxation requires ionized calcium, and most serum calcium is bound to plasma proteins and is not available. This "bolus" helps provide the needed ionized calcium.

Hey, usually when i get cramps i get salt and eat like a hand full!!! afterwards drink a glass of water and the cramps should be gone in 5min...
