well let them know that if you become a ward of the state they will have to pay child support as do I right now,100. a week.

Legally your parents have to look after you until the age of 21. However if they make you award of the state or put you up for adoption then off you go. At present legislation allows you to force your parents to look after you. The use of a court action or a family judge enforcing this ruling will make it easier for you. The state will provide council. Just remember that this is a very high profile issue. Most people will jump to assist you with this case. Remember love your parents but you didn't ask to be here. Not sure. Legally probably not until you are 18. But I don't know the law in texas. You do live in a hick state so it could be younger.

check with your Dept of Social Services...make an appoint ment and apply for welfare...they will let you know your rights, and probably clue your parents in also
