So you know the computer mice that have the laser underneath instead of the ball thing....? Well is it bad if you look at them? Could it damage your eyes? Because I don't think it could..but my mom does. SO. Does anyone know the answer?

Well, that depends if the mouse ur referring to is actually a laser mouse or an optical mouse. As far as optical mice are concerned, they CAN damage ur eye, but only if you look directly at the LED while holding the mouse within 6" of your face, give or take. Now with Laser mice, they have more potential to damage ur eyes. However, once again, you would have to look directly at it & at a very close range for it to do any damage, although it would do more damage faster than an optical would. And not to be rude or anything, but.....why are you looking at your mouses tracking device?! Aren't you afraid that you'll embarrass it?! I mean, it has feelings too!!! j/k :)

Who looks at the bottom of their mouse? Who I ask, who? Of course the damn mouse is harmless. Oh, except the high powered laser mice that cut through steel. Make sure you have a andamatium mouse pad!!!!

i highly doubt that just looking at it for a moment would do any harm to you. i have looked at the lazer and i have taken my mouse apart and no damage that i can tell so far

they could damage your eyes, the same way a bright light could, aside from that they cant even melt butter

the light is on the bottom of the mouse so you wont see it when you are using it.
