I don´t know their personal reasons.I have respect of what i don´t know. If people think they need to marry in a traditional way with wedding rings there must be a reason why they stopped doing it? Why don´t u ask them? If u loose trust in those friends then u have to ask yourself if these friends have given u enough reasons not to trust them anymore. Maybe is ur fear to loose these friends or ur fear not to be able to accept the difference between u en them. One more reason to talk to them en to grow and become stronger.

There are many reasons why people don't wear rings. While for some it may be a choice based on their feelings about the relationship, there are many professions where wearing a ring could cost you your life.
My husband is an electrician. He works many times with very high voltages. He wears no jewelry at all.
I have no issue with him not wearing a ring.
A wedding ring is like the Flag for your country. It is a symbol and does not necessarily guarantee or mean what some think it does.

Sometimes after a while it doesn't fit right, and people just don't bother to go get it sized. My mom has been complaining for years that her wedding band is too tight, so she hasn't worn it. A lot of guys don't wear rings because of the type of work they do (manual labor or electronics). I suppose, there are people who are players, and don't wear it for this reason. And some simply don't see it as a big deal either way.

Sometimes their rings don't fit properly any more and are unable to afford new ones or adjustments. Sometimes they find they are allergic to the metal, and unable to afford new ones.
Sometimes, like myself I take a bath in the morning and take my rings off because it could fall down the drain. There have been a few times I've forgotten to put the rings back on.
Other times people feel they are no longer married, other than a legal sense. Or maybe they feel their word should be enough.

Some people don't like wearing jewelry, but my husband and I have always worn our rings. I know in some jobs, jewelry is not allowed, so that could be a reason.

Due to the fact that he plays football, he doesn't wear it during practice or working out. But during college classes he wears it and everywhere else. I don't take mine off unless I'm washing dishes or taking a bath. But I think people don't wear it, are hiding the fact they are married or are not respecting the bond they have. If you didn't want to be married, you shouldn't have done it.

So why get maried in the first place?
A wedding ring you could say is something simbolic, or you can say that it´s the simbol of the love and respect you have for your spouse. It's a commitment you made when you said : "I do". The day I take it off it will be day I will ask for a divorce...

I think it shows a lack of respect for the marriage for some. There are times when I can not wear mine because of a skin irritation on my finger. I guess it would depend on the reason why its not worn. My husband and I wear ours as well.

My husband and I don't even HAVE wedding rings. We've been married for 6 years...when we got married, we couldn't afford them, and we just never got around to it. The rings don't really mean anything in the grand scheme of things...
