why does jonBenet Ramsey obituary say the 26 of dec but the tombstone say 25 of dec?

I was looking at her obituary and it said she died thursday dec 26..But alot of people say the 25 but the medical examiner must have released the time of death as the 26 or the papers would have to make a misprint in the tim of death..It was sais earlier that they just had the stone made notsure of time of death ..i was just wondering.....

I guess that the people and or the media does not always get their stories straight as in alot of other things they have been wrong. I don't think that the parents would have left the mistake on the tombstone if it was the funeral parlers mistake. Or maybe the medical examiner made a date mistake. Who knows, it is just sad that it happened. She had a lot of potenticial to her.

I think that I read a while ago that there was some confusion to the actual time of her death and that the Ramseys chose to put Christmas Day because it was a happy day for her and the last day of her life.

It's probably fitting that the date of death was December 25th. I think her parents discovered the body early on the 26th, didn't they? It's possible she was killed late evening of Christmas night, or early morning of December 26, but nobody probably really knows for sure. -RKO-

It's either a ploy to make Christmas the day she died...or it's simply a typing mistake.

a time line discrepancy.... they can't actually pin down the exact time so some reports say the 26 because that's when she was found dead.
