Got any cheap perfume? Don't laugh, it works! put a little dab on your finger and put it on the cold sore. It is going to sting like all heck, but it will help it heal faster. Something about the alcohol content drying it out. Keep dobbing it on every hour or so. Beware, you are going to taste the perfume.

Valtrex. You have to get it from the doctor. Also there are creams you can get from the doc too. Stress is a major factor. Actually the Valtrex works best when you first feel it coming on. My son has suffered with them for years. If you can't get to the doctor, go by the pharmacy and tell the phramist. He will give you some good OTC advice.

Yep due to stress, got one worrying about daycare. They have a Rx called Zovirax. What you have is a form of herpes, no not the bad sexual kind but it is a virus. Anyway get to the dr and get the Zovirax and it will clear up in no time.
good luck

It could be due to stress but it is also a form of herpes. They sell cold sore medications over the counter.Try one of those and stop worrying, enjoy life.

they have many products at the pharmacy for that.
they cut down the healing time.
Sorry about the timing...

in the uk we use zovirex (acyclavir) which is very good settles down very quick. in a few days but stress does bring them on. No oral sex while its their either as it can pass on the herpes virus down there. good luck

my wife tried that abreva and it didn't do sh*t for her. $16 for this miniscule tube of nothingness. she just uses the anbesol now and that works pretty good.
sorry you got this with everything going on.
