What is the stuff in a laptop screen and why can't we touch it? more inside.?

i know that they say it will damage the screen but what is it called? why will it damage it? how do you clean a laptop computer screen? it feels mushish.

just wipe it down with a small cloth. inside the screen is liquid crystals... i think. they make tools to clean the laptop screen. try dell.com theyll have it if they make it

i don't know lol i am waiting to see answers! i wanna know too, it makes ur screen odd colors if you touch it :) lol
