I should have been more specific. By enemy I mean terrorists. Do stories like this help the terrorists.

If the enemy isn't already taking comfort just watching what Bush does to our laws and our constitution, these stories aren't going to make any difference.

What, the president should be exempt from passing gas?
Should we have his gas passer clinically removed?!
Not even sure that I can consider any of these statements a fact, but I'm pretty sure that the "enemy" isn't benefitting one way or another. I don't think anyone would consider farts, and fart jokes as aid or comfort.

What enemy would that be? Bush's supporters would love him if the article included the part of human flesh he most enjoys barbecued. Everyone else doesn't need more fuel to add to their disgust.

You forgot to mention that was in the washington wispers, only from the rumor mill and most probably taken totally ou of context.
But what does a liberal care about truth unless it fills his consequences.
