There are Dean Koontz movies. The Frankenstein book is a movie, watchers, black river, hideaway, intensity, and a few others. I have read both. I prefer Koontz but King movies are good too.

actually there have been movies made out of Dean Koontz's novels ie...phantoms, hideaway, watchers and whispers to name a few. as just a little tidbit...he wrote an episode of CHiPs back in the day.

i watched dean koontz black river and there are others aswell check out imdb and put in dean koonzt it brings up the list of his films
they have had some famous people in them in his latest film phantoms ben affleck is in it

Because some authors only care about writing good stories. I think Stephen King got in over his head about money and he's only looking to bank in some more.

i really think it is because stephen king was also dirictor but i'm not sure... i bet that one day they put a dean koontz book in to movie production it just takes time.....
