What do you think about oprah...like her show in general?

I haven't watched Oprah's show in some time now, but that's only because she's on when I am at work. I think Oprah is beautiful and highly intelligent! She is genuinely caring and cares about the state of humanity. What bad can be said about the Queen?!!! She has a great, helpful show that provides life lessons and tips! She must be doing something right because her show has been airing for years!

Way back, when Oprah first came on the scene, I thought she was wonderful. In recent years, I've been turned off. Almost all of her topics seemed to be aimed at the upper-middle class or those who want to be upper-middle class, with precious little left over for those who are struggling along on minimum wage or not much more. Just look at all the stuff she thinks you should own...who among the average people can afford to waste money on that stuff. And look at the gifts she hands out to people who are having trouble paying the rent and feeding the kids! 300 dollar cosmetic baskets, 400 dollar coats, for chrissake! Excuse me, Ms Oprah, I don't need face cream, I need a trip to the dentist! I don't need expensive clothing, I can go to Goodwill, I need my washing machine repaired! She's so out of touch with what real people want and need, it's ridiculous! I don't doubt that her heart is in the right place, but let's get real, shall we?

Oprah is one of my hero's! I admire her for everything she has accomplished and for all the obstacles she has gotten over. I only wish to find a small bit of the success she has. No I don't want a talk show but I do have what I consider to be big dreams of my own. I also love her show! She is definitely someone I am proud to look up to.

Oprah is generous, sweet and caring person. She can be a role model for many black women. She did not have an easy upbringing and although she made it and very well. She never blamed it on her color she had raised above all. God bless her for all her charity work.

I love Oprah! Everyone always sterotypes her with shows like Jerry Springer (more in the past, than now though), but I really like her a lot. Her shows are really good. I'm not addicted to it, but she brings really good guests, and they're not all celebrities. She brings in real people with real life stories that we can all relate to. She also does a lot of shows that can help people with advice on various topics, such as a make-up artist who came one who gave advice one looking your best). She's also a wonderful strong woman whom I truly admire and respect. I have not read her biography, but I really want to. She came from a hard tough background, and has grown to become a very powerful influence on people...I LOVE YOU OPRAHHHHHHHHH!!!

She is very "me" oriented. She does do a lot of "good deeds" but she always makes sure everyone knows who financed the act.
She also has become a bit of a "self proclaimed" knower of all. We are developing a group of followers who will do/believe anything she says, because, "Oprah says so." People need to think for themselves.

I think oprah's show is really good..she's always nice to her guest and who else do you know would give their whole entire audience member a car!!!! shes a very intelligent women who knows what she wants when she wants it...she inspires me to reach for my goals and never give up!!!
