My battery is recharging and I'm playing a game. This is the second time it happened in over two days. When I played this game or used the laptop couple of months ago it didn't do that!

Its a Dell Inspiron B130 Laptop and I'm playing a video game called MapleStory. My battery is recharging and it hasn't exploded like people say from recent news. I've done this thousands of times and now it wants to turn off by itself. I checked my battery settings and still nothing!

Maybe you were not using the keyboard during your GAME.... Maybe you weren't using your mouse.... so it did time out.
You should reprogram your Power Saving modes, so that when you are on BATTERY, it never shuts down.

I even have the dell inspiron 1545 and it shuts off each and every so often while it over heats or is out of battery. that's beneficial to take it to the save you got it from and ask them in case you got it at terrific purchase it comes with a geek squad assure. wish you got coverage for it =P

Umm you might have one of those discontinued exploding batteries from Dell. Lots in the news lately regarding them.

Check to see if yours is one that was recalled because of a battery problem . Not Dells fault they are Sony batteries

The laptop is overheating and must shut down to save itself from destruction. Dell laptops are notorious for that and I have had experience with that, too. You are not alone in this.

at first my opinion is don't play game with your laptop
i was have laptopn and have thiz problem too,
1.maybe your power options in control panel changed(for example if u don't press a key or use mouse pad)will be shut down
2.maybe your laptop going to harmer more
and it's normal to your lap shutting down
plz check your laptop spec in www.dell.com
and find out your lap is PROPER for game or not
at all play game with u pc very simple and without any problem

well mostly, games can, and cant work on laptop, because...LAPTOP OVERHEATS too much, than a regular PC, since the fan of the laptop is small. and the PC fan is big, sooo, the reason is that the laptop overheats too much, or your laptop requirments, did not fit for your game.
