My husband has been having an affair for over a year, and I've been trying to get him to sign the divorce papers. Sometimes I have a change of heart and think we should give it a shot.

In the meantime, he's been stringing his mistress along. He told her that he was going to move into an apartment (he hasn't signed a lease) and that he's going to get a divorce (paper's aren't signed and he keeps coming back).

Well, I found out that she has set up a moving date to move out of her apartment (thinking she will live with my husband), and she is looking for a new job. He's been staying with me the past week because he has a friend in town, and he hasn't talked to the mistress. It's obvious to me that he doesn't love her so why can't she take a hint and move on without him? She has the idea stuck in her head that they are going to be together. Why?

ha ha ha....why is his wife so stupid? maybe you're the one getting strung along...I'm really not intending on being so harsh or putting you down, but you REALLY need to step back and re-evaluate your situation....she probably thinks the same about you. How do you KNOW that he hasn't gotten that apartment? Maybe he hasn't signed because he knows how easy you are to "string along" or maybe he's afraid he hasn't gotten you quite where he wants you yet....are you pretty much hanging him out to dry in the divorce...hell, if that's the case, I can't blame him. Honey, you are letting him have his cake and eat it too!

You say he is stringing her along ... what do you think he is doing to you? If you choose to stay in a relationship with a lier and cheater your being strung along as well. When people truely love each other no one will stand in the way of that ... married or not.

Why can't you take the hint that this dude is a complete douchebag and that if he has a mistress, that you shouldnt even be wasting your time? Did you ever think that he's just having his cake and eating it too by stringing you both along? Wow lady, you really need to stop living in your fantasy world and move on...

How do you know he isn't playing you!!Maybe he is using you for a place to stay till his mistress gets the apt and he is just lying to you!!Man that would be to funny! He isn't with you for a reason honey wake up!Sounds like he is just using the both of you.Why would you even give him a chance to do you like that, you see what kind of man he is!And your willing to let him use you like he is doing?Once he gets back into your life if he even does which i doubt he will just leave you again for the next girl who catches his eye.Time to say good bye to the looser he ain't worth a pot of beans! And all your asking for is hurt !!Seems like that's the best he has to offer any women in his life! And you think that girl is stupid no honey your stupid!!Cause your dumb enough to even take him back after what he had done to you.He is a liar and a cheat what good is he really? And why do you want that in your life?SO maybe you need to think about who is the stupid one here?

Are you that pitiful/desprate? Do you not have anything in your life that could be possibily positive that you would have to stoop to this level?

You need to get a life! You don't need him to sign the papers...you can get that done in court. I think that you want him back any way you can get him! The big question is why do you want him?

Get rid of this guy and his cheating ways. Go out and find a man who will treat you decent and care for you......Then again maybe you don't really want that...

The best bet is to get some counseling. YOu really need it.

Good Luck

No, no, no honey. You are the one that has the idea stuck in your head that he is coming back to you.

He is there with you because you keep opening the door. Sure they can both use free board and room while getting their stuff together. Once they get and apartment together you will be yesterday's news. You are the one being used dear, not the mistress.

Open your eyes sweetheart.

Good luck

For the life of me, I don't know WHY you're even bothered by it. Why do you want anyone who has kept up a YEAR long relationship with someone else while being married to you? Sounds like he's stringing BOTH of you along to me. She's not the only one who needs to move on.

If she is willing to be a mistress in the first place, she can't have too much sense.
And if she hasn't 'got it' by now she probably doesn't have any at all.
And if you still want this kind of man in your life perhaps you need to examine your thought processes as well. This is mental and emotional abuse on his part to you and her both.

Sounds to me like he's playing both of you... Why would you even *consider* giving any more "shots" to this guy? If you can answer this, maybe you'll get a better insight into how his mistress might be feeling.

Forget the mistress, why are you allowing this two-timing, cheating husband of yours to still live with you? Sign those divorce papers and let him know that his behavior as a husband is simpy UNACCEPTABLE.
