If your drinking excessively, then yes. If you have urgency to need a bathroom within that period of time I would consult a doctor. There is medication to relieve this symptom. I think sometimes your prostate becomes enlarged and causes pressure on your bladder. Not a health risk, but causes this urgency for the bathroom. This medication will reduce that swelling. If this is different urgency for you to need a bathroom so often, I would call the doctor.

In general, the more fluid you consume, the more you will have to urinate. The body does this in order to maintain blood pressure and blood osmolarity.
However, in some people urinate too frequently. This could be do to the following medical conditions:
1. An unnaturally high urge to drink more water than is necessary
2. A case of diabetes insipidus--here high blood glucose levels cause the person to feel very thirsty and urinate frequently.
3. Stress-induced urination--sometimes before exams, some individuals have to go to the bathroom more often than usual.
4. And oh yeah, like the others above mentioned, an enlarged prostrate could contribute to this

Remember that your body has to put out what you put in. If you drink a lot of liquids, especially those containing caffeine, you may experience more ferquent urination. The question is are there other symptoms, such as burning on urination, painful urination, etc? Those could be symptoms of a urinary tract or bladder infection.

no it's not unless you are drinking heavy at a party. Kidding
aside I suggest you see a Urologist. Myself I took Detrol but
didn't work.
Dr prescribe DitropanXL and that worked wonders. Now I don't
have that problem though I drink alot of liquids, See a Urologist.
Good luck!

Everyone's body is different. It also depends on how much fluids you consume. The more you drink the more you will have to urinate. If you are worried then definitely see a doctor.

Probably. Everyone is different. If you have always been on this cycle, you're probably normal. If it recently increased, you might need to see a doctor and have your blood sugar checked, you could possibly be diabetic.
