1. Scrape away as much wax as you can with a dull knife.

2. Place a sheet of butcher paper, glossy side up, or a portion of a brown paper bag on top of the wax.

3. Press the tip of a warm iron gently over the affected area until the wax melts and attaches to the paper.

4. Lift the paper from the fabric as it cools.

5. Dab a small amount of denatured alcohol onto the stain if any candle dye remains on the fabric.

6. Sponge with water.

7. Wash the fabric as usual.

get some paper towels and lay a thick layer over the wax stain and run a hot iron over it. It should melt the wax and the paper towel should absorb it. Be more careful next time. :)

wax usually comes off if you put like a paper towel and iron it. the iron will melt the wax and the paper towel will absorb the wax it worked on my couch i don't see why it should work on yours

You should tell your parents and ask them what you should do, because if they found out then you will get in more trouble then if you did tell them. Also you will show them that you are responsible and mature. Gaining their trust is really what's it's about, that way of you want something or did something REALLY bad then you can get away with it a lot more easly.

I think it would be easier to remove once its cooled and you could peel it off.....If some damage has occured such as the material melted or torn a bit....not much you can do.....The best thing is to fess up, appologize and take your penance! Good luck!

oh my! the best way is to cool it with ice and when it gets hard, chip it out. its easier to get it out this way. but maybe after you do that, there'll be a little dark stain.. i dont know what to do with that but try washing it with soap and blowdrying it later. good luck guys!
