Aren't they affable?

Question

I like the Geico Gecko and Dr. Z. of DaimlerChrysler. But some don't. I find them charming. Yes, the commercials are over played, but I still like the characters.

I love them, I like the one where the geco is in the back of the van singing Kung Fu Fightin!!!
Also I Love the one where the lizard was telling the lizard how the plan was like fish and chips

I don't really like either one of them. But I guess one of the main goals of commercials is to make viewers remember the ads and it worked pretty well for Geico. I'm not sure I can say the same for DaimlerChrysler's Dr. Z (maybe because the character is still relatively new).

I agree with the answer where they did not care for the Dr.Z fellow. I do like the gecko though. He is such a likely personality. Easy to understand why he is popular.
The ones I love are the Capital One credit cared ads with David Spade. Those are masterpieces. I also like the ones we have locally where I live but I believe they are syndicated with other places for the trunk money in the cars instead of an alarm system. It is a monkey who sneaks into the car and hits the thief on the head with a ball bat. He also delivers babies etc.

My little girl LOVES the Geico Gecko. She'll point to the tv and say "Gecko". I don't really care much for Dr. Z though.

I like the Gecko, but I can't stand the Dr. Z commercials. The jokes are so lame. "Does that moustache got a Hemi?" Gimme a break.
