How do I get my fabric to stop bubbling when I use fusible interfacing?

You don't want to leave the iron on it too long, just long enough so that it is stuck and keep the iron moving. Don't have the iron too hot either as mentioned by others. Use the appropriate weight of interfacing for the weight of your fabric. You're doing something wrong to have bubbling so change your technique and all and you shouldn't have that happen any more.

Try using a press cloth- sometimes the steam holes in the iron will leave "bubbles". The other possibility is that the fabric is a synthetic, and the iron is set too hot. I find fusibles work best on cotton and other more heat-tolerant fabrics.

Turn your iron down to the lowest temperature that will allow the interface to adhere. Iron it from a corner or one side, moving in that direction only. Buy lightweight interfacing.
