no. yes lj was tight last year but that came out of no where. and i don't care what expert claims they knew he was a star. THEY ALL WERE SAYING KC WAS STUPID TO DRAFT HIM WHEN HE WAS DRAFTED. asking lj to have the same year as last is asking to much teams are gonna key on him and he won't be getting anywhere near those numbers. fitzgerald is legit. i won't knock him and his team has only gotten better
LT is the man-is numbers speak for themselves. you can draw in 17 to 20 td's right now as we speak. johnson has palmer. i can hear people saying..but palmers not ready...if he's up and working out-he's ready-teams don't tell other teams during preseason that ...OH MY STAR IS READY TO GO NOW...no this he ain't ready crap is all a ploy to make it seem like he's a wounded duck. he's far from it.
i'd keep your players. and see if i can give aways something else for LJ. he's obviously willing to trade him so give up your other back for him. but i wouldn't give up LT for him.

As far as a preseason trade goes, I think that one is pretty much a wash. In the preseason, with our drafts and subsequent trades, we can only go on hypotheticals, we don't really know for sure what they're going to do. Those 2 WR's and the 2 RB's are PROJECTED (by all the "experts") to be nearly identical as far as fantasy output. One magazine may have Chad as #1, and Fitz as #4 and one web site may say vice versa. The question to ask is, which pair have been putting up the numbers longer? Who is more consistent? Which pair is MORE LIKELY to produce better numbers? In that case, LT and Chad each have a few years of great production under their belt, whereas Fitz has had 1 big year and LJ has had only about a half of a year. Could Fitz and LJ produce better than the other pair? Sure. But LT and Chad are a safer bet. Keep 'em. Even if the other guys end up better in the long run, you'll have made the right move.
Plus LJ went to Penn State and will fall subject to the PSU running back curse. (Anyone remember Curtis Enis? Ki-Jana Carter??)

It looks preety even. I personally like the Ladanian Tomlinson, chad Johnson combo better. LT is arguably the best athlete in the NFL... But Larry Johnson will most likely get about the same points. Fitz is great and so is johnson and will put up similar points. I would keep what I had and not make the trade, but overall it is a preety fair trade.

The biggest thing that should influence you in this trade is who do you like better. Overall this is a very even trade with little to no down side for either team. I wold hold onto LT and Chad though for these reasons. LT will have a big year. The Chargers passing game should take a small step down with their fresh QB. If Rivers has a ruff time he will be dumping off more short passes to LT and TE's when he gets pressured. His numbers will be better then last years when he was still really good. Johnson is the Benagals clear cut #1 reciever where Fitzgerald shares that designation with Bouldin. At the end of the season Chads numbers should be slightly better. This is a very even trade and worth consideration. If it were my choice to make I would hold on to LT and Johnson.

It depends on how your league allocates points. Larry Johnson should score more TD's than Tomlinson, but the yards could be fairly close. With a lousy QB, the Chargers might have to rely heavily on LT a lot more this year, and that could be either a positive or a negative. Chad Johnson and Fitzgerald are fairly even (although Johnson is on a much better team), but Edgerrin James will probably cut into Fitzgerald's overall numbers this season. Everything seems about even, but I would be hesitant to pull the trigger on this one...

I would not make this trade here is why:
Larry Johnson and Tomlinson are about a push
Where it is decided is between CJ and Fitz, CJ plays on a much more gifted offensive team and is the main go to guy, where as Fitz has a team with a poor offensive line and is not the "go to" receiver, he and Boldin are about even.
This is a very even trade, but I believe you currently hold the advantage.

Most will consider this somewhat even but I would look into who each player is going to defend them. Johnson is going to face much more stiffer defenses than any of them this year so in my mind Fitz wins on that point. Johnson and LT will face the same in division including twice head to head and I would rather have Johnson when playing the Chargers...so I would go for the trade!

HECK YEA!
Larry johnson is eihter the first or second pick in every draft while Tomlinson is always the third. And with the injury to Carson Palmer, Chand Johnson will not mirror last years stats. Fitzgerald will only get better from the year before.

It is completely fair. But honestly, id keep a hold of Chad Johnson if possible. Larry Fitzgeralds only downside is the QB throwing to him. Who knows how Warner is going to do this year. But the trade is so evenly matched with the same positions involved, its hard to tell if you will benifit more from it. Id stick with your gut feeling on it.

I would pass. Its a pretty even trade, but Chad Johnson said he is going to break the NFL single season record of 22 this year. Chad is a man of his word.

it mainly depends on which running back you like better. Both WR's arfe ranked about the same in my book. I'd rather have LJ and LF personally, but I could see the argument either way. Lately, I've become warry of whether or not Carson Palmer will be healthy and ready and I'm not too sure how well LT will do with Philip Rivers. On the other side, LJ lost one of his offensive linemen. I'd take it. It's actually a pretty fair trade.
