Are there any sites that feature orchestral scores that you can scroll through as you listen to a CD?
I'm not a big classical buff, but whenever I've been able to follow the score, it's enhanced the listening experience and at the same time my appreciation for the extraordinary skill and discipline of classical composers.

Even if there was, it would not be useful. The reason being that most scores are so big, they can't fit on a computer screen--even one that's 21'.

How do I know, I am a composer. I teach composition at the University level. My students write orchestral music using computer software, and so do I. You can barely see half a page on a computer screen and that is when it is greatly reduced. Nothing beats a printed copy.

I consider the Sibelius answer. The software is slightly expensive yet when you're a pupil there's a generous inexpensive. learn most of the texts on orchestration. seem at Alder, Kent Kennen, Walter Piston, Rimsky Korsekov and Hector Berlioz. learn the rankings of different composers. seem at Beethoven -the orchestra by no skill receives in the way of the music- Stravinsky- music of the Nightingale specifically) Roy Harris (third symphony) Ravel (something) and Aaron Jay Kernis (something).

I doubt it, copyrights are pretty serious...and you can't just get music like that. Publishing companies want the money...when you purchase an actual score, has all the sheets for every instrument and a score, it costs anywhere from 200 to over 1000 dollars to purchase
