If no-one continually bids, does eBay put your maximum bid in at the end and grant the seller the maximum bid you indicated? Or is it possible to get the item at less than your maximum bid if no-one keeps bidding and bidding higher and higher near to your maximum Eg maximum bid is 200 dollars-but so far others have only bid 80 dollars-is it possible when the bid closes I would not have to pay $200? But much less? Or does eBay grant your maximum to the seller at the last minute?? (This is my first time using eBay) Thanks in advance for your help!!! ☺

it only increases your bid if others bid against you. If you are willing to pay 200, but no one else is willing to pay more than 75, you'll get it for 75.50

Ebay will bid whatever the increment is until your max bid. If the last bid is 80 and ebay bids 82 for you and the auction ends, you pay 82 plus shipping.
