i have a wireless laptop on bt broadband,its supposed to be upto 8meg yet all the speed tests show under 2 meg,i am wireless and my laptop shows 54mps and 100 mps through ethernet,is it my end or bts fault?

You have up to 8 meg, I have up to 6 meg.

Its all crap as from 4-8 pm it's like having dial up.

BT are suckering us into believing we are getting high speed when all the traffic sucks up the bandwidth every evening

Broadband speed is dependent on your exchange and the system carrier set up,the claims made by ISP's are only in speeds achived
in ideal situations

check with your wireless card manufactor or computer shop technician,i think they should be able to help.
