How many years have they been coming out with the madden video games?

Since 1990-91 I believe. They started adding the years to the game title in 1992 and they came out with the Original John Madden a year before that.

The first John Madden football came out on the Apple II in 1989. The first Madden NFL was Madden NFL '94 which came out in 1993.
