Yes, we do have traditions. One of our traditions is to move loser teams (think Montreal Expos) from city to city.

Teams that change cities have their tradition in the cities that they left. It seems more traditional to look back upon all of the defunct teams rather than teams that any modern fan is familiar with.

It's all about money, and how much they can make in any particular city. A losing team without fan support will move to a city that will support them.

Oh I wouldn't say that ask the Red Sox's, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees, Washington Redskins, Boston Celtics, the Knicks, there are lots of triditions.
