- Denounce your faith and take up sceintology,
- Lose so much weight, people start worrying about you,
- Buy a small ugly dog,
- Make your own home porno movie and leak it onto the internet,
- Or sleep with the president of your country and then write a book about it.

the Dictionary Defines a celebrity as 1 a famous person. 2 the state of being famous. so it really depends on how many people know you and what your status is in Society.

No not in this case. You have to be known globally to be a celebrity. In this case you are just popular not a celebrity. Big difference.

not if you live in a small town. If you have a prominent job in your community you could be locally famous. Celebrity that is kinda stretching it unless you are a used car salesman who has a wacky commercial on TV.
