The constitution prohibits the President from serving more than three terms....And wouldn't he be gone anyways since he traded himself for a hostage?

Its not a possibility in the American system? 2 terms and done, its the law.

But the premise of your question is flawed. How would a president trading himself for an American Hostage be Brave. I would say that would be far more stupid than brave. In fact I would guess that would be the easy thing to do for any President.

No, but just think if Cheney gets elected under his own name then he could be President for another 8 years. 16 years for Dick, now that's one evil madman. He deserves to be in a Bond movie. The possibilities are endless The script would write itself.

That won't be enough since he was the cause of the deaths of at least 2000 American soldiers in Iraq for weapons that couldn't be found.

That's not possible. Truman was the last president eligible for more than two terms.

considering he had to cheat to win his first term, and lie to the public to win his second, i doubt he could win a third, especially since he took our country down the shi.tter in the duration of his presidency. but we are america, and if anything could happen, it could happen here, especially since we are so naive, and completely backwards as a society.
