I was married in the legal sense once. That was three, almost four, years of hell that I have no desire to repeat.
However, I am in a relationship now that is pretty darn close to being married. We aren't married, as in have a marriage certificate, but we live together and do everything just the same as any other married couple.
Neither one of us feels like what we have is less than what we would have if we actually got married.

Yes. Well sort of. Well, honestly no but I wish I was. Well, honestly I guess I don't really wish I was because that would be weak. No. I'm single. Kind of. I guess, I mean, I'm totally dedicated to someone forever, we just don't really say that to each other. But I really care about this person - at least until that son of a ***** cheats on me again.
