My wife does all the time, she even had me download the WHOLE cd online and now only listens to I think TWO songs out of the 11 or 12 total on the "cd". I never do though because I only download the ones I like while listening to UK/Irish radio online here at work (American Express) SLC, UT (USA).

I've done that numerous times and it makes me so mad. That's why I am very thankful for the ability to download songs so that way you don't have to buy the whole cd, you can just have the songs you like and put them on your own cd. Much better than wasting a good $20 or so for just one or two songs.

OMG too many times! I once bought an album for the intro to a song and that was in the days of vinyl and the bit I liked was worn white and the rest pristine

it happened with me yeah, guess it happened with everybody..
i basically buy Cd's this way, i listen to a good song, so i go buy the full album.. sometimes it's not what i really expected, but after a while, one gains enough experience to decided wether to buy the CD or not..

anyway, this shouldn't be a problem anymore, just download the songs for free from any P2P program :)

Yeah, I bought the album "The Great Destroyer" (by Low) because I heard the song "Silver Rider." As it turns out, I only liked one other song on the album.

No, I ask to listen to the album on those headphones things.

I have bought albums which I hate one or two songs on because those couple of songs don't really matter.

I usually buy the smaller albums, if I don't like loads of songs on the bigger ones.

Many times. That why I prefer to buy the boot-legged cd's cause it only cost about $2 on the streets. So if theres only one song I like I will get my one song worth.
