Pink algea in swimming pool.?

Question

I have pink algea trying to grow in my pool. I have treated it with a product called "Yellow" which doesn't seem to be working. Water was tested and no phosphates found in water. Any ideas????

brush algae with a wire brush treat pool with a min of 2lbs of trichlor powder 90%. most pool supply stores carry this product as well as algaecides to treat pink algae itself. ive been in the pool sevice for 25 plus years good luck ERIC
