....my personal study tips that worked for me thru college......
(a)Have jotter in one hand and your note book and text book in the other hand. read sumthing from your text, cross check it with what you have wrtten down in your note book and jot down memorable and important key words or phrases in your jotter.
(b)you can also study by going to the end of each chapter first to read the summary of the chapter that way you get a general idea of the topic beign discussed in that chapter and you tend to get less bored or likely to dose off
(c)you can study by reading out loud and cramming memeorable phrases if you dont have the patience to write em down .
Remember knowledge IS power nad no Knowledge gained is ever lost

Be completely ready for the exam the day prior to the exam. That way the night before the exam, you will only have to review your notes and won't be staying up late cramming, and you will be able to be more rested.

I make my own exam out of the notes. I type the questions and then type the answers below them. This way, I can cover the answers as I go down the page. Don't uncover the answer until you say it in your head.

I used to type up all of my notes, while in college. I took good notes when I read and in class. That's all the studying I needed.

That really depend on the test subject - I study differently for history (thins I just have to memorize) than things like math (where I have to work things out).
