I got a ton of hatemail recently by some people because I don't chose to believe in their religion. Please don't send me hatemail on this subject...my inbox is full.

Please don't lecture me on religion and god stuff....i probably know the bible, torah, and koran better than most people...

A religious person who sends hate mail,can you see the irony in this?It"s sad but religious followers allow themselves to be so totally brainwashed by their religious leaders that they can no longer think,act or see straight.I believe in the freedom to do what ever one chooses.Power to you!

Because they think that they are right, who knows what the truth really is? How does someone know that their religion is right? You should follow your heart and not worry so much about what people think of it, if they are sending you hate mail than I would say that is not very religious of them is it? maybe those people should get the hate mail, if god is so good and pure than why are his fanatics doing something evil like hurting someone with hate mail? Maybe people should believe in what they want and leave everyone else alone maybe the world be be a more peaceful place

That's because they think they are doing the right thing. I am one (I guess) and I'm not going to force you to believe. I accept the fact that people have different beliefs and different opinions.

people want to be right. not every religion is going to be for every single person on this earth. do what makes you happy (and is within legal limits) and forget what everyone else is telling you do to. its just a control issue, and their religions are too controlling. they need to get a mind of their own.

they are not hatemails, they are lovemails because they are telling you the truth. dont be deceived. why are you so bothered about it anyway? may God help you. and by the way why is this in the preteen and teen section? shouldn't it be in the religious and spiritual section? oh. i forgot. you are running from the truth. I agree with porkupus, and you have answered your own question. They are fanatics because they can't accept anything than their own narrow dogma. Brainwashing has a lot to do with it as well.

because they think their way is the only way... i had an egyptian chick tell me my religion was wrong and i was bad for having two kids out of wedlocks etc and i needed to just give her religion a try because it was right and better......

some people just cant accept that anyone can ever have different views that are equal to theirs.
what you choose to believe is your choice and dont let anyone tell you what you believe.

they cant accept this because their religion says that theirs is the only right religion, therefore those with other beliefs are condemned to hell. .... does that help?
