Yes. I have traveled all over the world through the pages of books. I have learned much about myself and my interests, as well as answers to questions I have had from subjects as varied as physics to business practices.

LOL! Well to be honest with you I have to be careful what I read. My problem is that if I really like a book ( which is often the case) my laundry, vacuuming and dusting and other miscellaneous things don't get done. I will read until I can't comprehend another word only cause i can't put the bloody thing down!

It is fun to get away in the pages though. Oh and by the way. Right now I am reading a book that you may be interested in. Now I am not sure what you like but the movie should be coming out in September or October. The book is called "Running with Scissors" by Augustus Burroughs. It has huge print and is barely over 300 pages. You can easily knock it out on a Saturday. It is very messed up and very funny. The jist of the book is that Augustus ( the author and main character in the book) is a youth with a lot of "social" issues if you will. His mother is a poet and the dad is a ....oh shoot I forgot. Well anyhow the mother had her son adopted by her shrink! Well it goes from there. It is actually a story about his( the aurther) childhood. If you check it out I hope you like it.

Happy reading! Oh and Ty for a fun question!

Reading is a joy! No matter what your interests you can find something you'll enjoy reading. Books have everything, romance, humor, suspense, history, pathos, mystery, just
name it,
The books I love best are the ones you can't put down and hate to finish because you don't want the story to stop. Then there are books that seem so boring in the first few chapters that you almost stop reading them, then they pick up momentum and your imagination just flies.

I love that no matter how you are feeling a book can make things better, make you smile, laugh, cry, your heart ache and see yourself in a different light, I love to read!

I love reading and keep track of what I've read on Amazon (by posting reviews). That way I can look back and see what I liked or didn't like. Other people benefit from my reviews too. I've reached TOP 1000 REVIEWER ranking in 2 1/2 years. Makes me feel good to share what I feel about a book.
I read for information, for escape, for experiencing other's emotions vicariously, and just to luxuriate in a well-turned phrase.

Yes, I love to read. I buy a new book like twice a month. Why? Because I love to learn about new things and places. History, nature, adventure, are my favorites. I can never get enough and I agree they are an escape from reality, if however brief. What do you like to read?

I've always had trouble reading, so not really. I'm dyslexic, so it makes it kind of hard. When I was in High School I did read a lot though and I loved the feeling of being transported to a different world as you delve in the heart of a great book. I had to stop reading so much though, because my school work was suffering.

I like to read, it helps me relax after a long tiring day. It's like my own world created by the characters I am reading and living with them. Each book is a new atmosphere for me, and I learn so much from each character eventually from each book.

Yes. Reading is my life. You escape from reality and you dive in a fantasy world. You imagine how the characters look like and also create an opinion for each one of them.

Reading is fundamental. I love reading with a passion, my mother instilled that trait in me when she taught me to read. I agree some books are so inspiring that the book itself is a catalyst that changes your life.

Conversations with God did that for me, as well as A Tree Grows In Brooklyn.

I have enjoyed reading since the first grade. 1 it was a way to travel both to different worlds and different times. I don't see it as a way to escape but as a way to enlarge my world, my mind, and most of all to open my mind to new and different perspectives. It has been an important tool to both confirm as well as change beliefs.
