My period isn't due for another 4 days. I just used First Response Early Detection and it came out negative : (

I took a pregger test 5 days before and I got a false negative. But I took it on the actual day of my period and I got the positive answer. It all depends on how strong your hormones fluctuate early on. Even the result on my positive test result was really faint so I took a couple more just to make sure.

No pregnancy test (unless it's one you had at the doctor's) is totally accurate. But, if you take a test after 10 or 14 days of the unprotected sex, the levels of Hcg in you urine should be detectable.
I recommend you wait for your period, and if it doesn't come... go to see your doctor. (Don't stress yourself too much, because it could delay your period)

it depends on the test. but if you take an early detecting one and it comes out negative, i would take another one a week or two later just to be sure.

it depends on how sensitive the test is. Most of them recommend that you wait until your period is due to make sure there is enough pregnancy hormone to detect...... if it comes up ositive ( no matter how light it is) then you are probably pregnant.

A blood test is accurate 24 hours after conception. It is not very expensive either. A urine test would not be very accurate that early.

yes there are some tests that you can take up to one week before you miss your period. Worked for me. I used the EPT!
