Oak big screen tv cabinet?

Old big screen tv in beautiful oak cabinet with folding doors. Anyone ever tear out the old tv screen and insides to make a cabinet for a new tv? how hard is it?

Very easy to do, take off the back of cabinet carefully, remove tv from behind. If you have extra shelves in the way for a bigger tv, remove those, touch up stain where it was not applied. Measure and install new tv from behind and depending on how it fits, you might have to do some custom cutting for the tv back. Good luck, sounds like a good project for you.
