I can't decide which wireless game adapter to get...either the Netgear WGE111 54 Mbps Wireless Game Adapter ($65.99), or the Linksys Wireless B Game Adapter (only $19.99!). They both have basically the same rating by reviewers. They both get some bad reviews because the setup won't work...HELP!

I have the Netgear it works just fine. It is also a wireless G meaning 54mbps. The Linksys you list is a wireless B which is I think 11mbps.
Yes it will work with a linksys router. Just dont try to use the WEP or WPA security, that makes it not work. Other than that, right out of the box it works

I went through many different setups. I use mac filtering on mine. That is the one thing I had not disabled to test with wep. I just could not get it to grab an IP with all my security on.

I would go with the G one as it supports higher transfer rates

54mbps instead of 11mbps

However if you are using dsl or cable you will probally only use 1-3 mbps so if you are broke get the cisco/linksys one.

PS2 does no longer have any instantaneous features, so an ethernet cord is had to connect with the cyber web. Any universal ethernet cable might want to artwork, basically plug one end into the instantaneous router and the different into the decrease back of the PS2. also likely want to ascertain a connection utilising both the web start up disc that got here along with your PS2, set up a connection in the game you want to play on-line. With the PS3 out, most of the PS2 video games have had their on-line help dropped or canceled. So the no longer have any on-line play.
