I mean, you know how nowadays, E.g: to add music files to your mp3 player, you have to stick the square plug part into your computer? is it the USB port thing? I'm not sure, but I hope you get what i mean.
Well my brother gave me his oldest computer and bought a new one for himself. WHen his old one, the monitor was broken, he game me another monitor. but then the machine with the harddrive stuff broke, so he gave me his one. Neither of the ones I've used has that square plug in which you plug your MP3 or jump drive stuff in.

is there somethign that can adapt from the old old circle shaped ones to the square shaped ones?

where can i get it? what is it calleD? and do you know whow much?

Thanks for all yoru help. I mean homeowork, music most of what i do, I need my friends to send me my stuff in another format on the computer just because i can't plug it.

Oh and by the way, My brother fixes my computer, so I still use windows 98. and his computer is forbidden to me T-T

If you're running Windows 98 on a desktop computer, you can probably add a USB PCI card to your computer. It's a computer card that plugs into a slot inside the computer and puts USB ports in the back (where your keyboard and mouse and monitor and everything plug in). You need to have an available PCI slot. USB cards are not very expensive, maybe $10-$15.

You are talking about a USB port. You can buy a PCI USB card. Have your brother install it.
