If the car is actually moving forward even when your foot is on the brake then you have a clutch problem. If you are just sitting and the motor revs up a little it is actually a built in feature of your car that it knows to rev the engine up a little to power the A/C without the car stalling because the engine apparently does not make enough torque at idle (when stopped) to power the air conditioner. Nothing may be wrong with your car. Many cars have this feature.

Tell Wright Works that the last thing a vacuum leak will cause is a reve. It sucks the power right out of a motor. You do however need to look into your fuel system. Gas goes into the carb/throtle/cad whatever you have in your car faster when the ac is on. Therefore I say you problem is in your fuel intake.

There is a solenoid that kicks in when you turn your AC on. This may be turning on and off for some reason. Your AC takes power from the motor and when you are at a stop sign or ideling you need a little extra power for the car to continue running.

most likely ignition problems or the fuel supply line problem.. basically ur engine's fuel supply line is rather unclean so the fuel isn't reaching constantly at a proper required rate.. basically the line isn't so messed up that the fuel doesn't go thru at all once in a while but it is messed up enough to make ur car rev a little n then fall.. if u have a manual transmission it could have something to do with the clutch..

first you have to tell us a little more about the car, and how many miles is on it and when was the last time it had a tune up and that sounds to me like what the problem really is it sounds like you need a tune up, it runs fine when you don't have to much of load on it and then when y ou turn on the ac it puts to much of drag on the engine try that first that will be the cheepest.

Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak. Listen under the hood for a hissing noise while engine is running. You may have a disconnected vacuum hose...

You need a man on the ground to help you. Ask any man and he'll try to help you. In lieu of that, take your car to a mechanic (invariably a man.)

It could well be your A/C compressor kicking on and off which COULD mean that it's getting low on freon --If this is it then your A/C wuld probably be working not quite as well as usual. You shoud be okay---I hope
