Oh yes, but if there was a W.E.T. or united white college fund, the african americans would do everything and anything to get that show off of tv. But no one cares when its on the other foot. IT IS 100% R A C I S T!

WET has always been here. It is called every channel on television besides BET... VH1 and MTV are classic examples of this. I don't know may African Americans that enjoy watching "The Dukes of Hazard" or any other show in the '80s.

People can apply for scholarships anywhere. If you are so concerned about getting a scholarship for being white, I suggest you go to school at a all black college and apply for a minority scholarship. This is able to be done, I know of someone who has done it...

I totally agree with you. Yes, that is racist but there would be a HUGE stir and more chaos if there was W.E.T. Although I am a minority female, I think there should also be a male channel because there is Lifetime, television for women and WE. Today's society...

Totally racist. Imagine the white Miss American pageant. Or the white movie awards. Or a totally white fraternity. Or the National association for the advancement of white people.People would be rioting in the streets

Not as the term is generally used.

Those groups promote and celebrate one race or ethnic heritage, but generally do not say that other races are bad. It's like saying a high school cheer-leading squad is bigoted because they only cheer for their home team.

Supporting one group does not automatically mean you oppose another. And racist generally means (by connotation) that not only is the message making racial distinctions, but it is doing in it a way that insults or diminishes the another race.
