A funky honey made on a farm. You know with a neat bottle or funky label. Fall is an easy time of year to find this sort of thing if you head out to rural areas. I often bring that to Rosh Hashana dinners. Send a bag of beautiful red apples from Sam & David.
These are things that are simple, but can be seen as very thoughtful.

Rosh Hashanah is the celebration of the new year, so new clothes, books- the regular gifts- will do just fine.

The traditional foods of Rosh Hashanah are: dates, gourds and fish, but mostly pomegranates and apples (with honey on it). If you're coming to the celebrations you can bring one of these.
