I cant remember the name of a film about a demon that possesses people and moves from person to person when they touch. At the end the demon ends up in a cat. Any help?

i dont know for sure what this one your talking about is called, but it defo aint shocker, is that not the one where the guy can go from house to house using the tv screens as transport. what ever house he came out the tv in he just had to kill who ever was there. great film. watched it when i was about 15.
